parking

うちのアパートの近くには絶対空いている停車場(消火栓わき)があるので、車で買物に行ったときの荷物の降ろしに使わせてもらっている(違法)のだが、長時間に渡って駐車するとなると路上では場所がなさそう。

We always use a small space for parking a car in a few minutes to unload the stuff from our shopping (illegally in front of a fire hydrant). But, I don't think we can find any space for longer parking.

車を貸してくれるのはありがたいが、2週間もどこに止めればいいのだろう?

It is nice for somebody to lend his car to us, but how can I find the parking space for two weeks?
