口パクという名の芸 / Lip-Syncing

This year, our group at the church's year-end party performed lip-syncing of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody". Although the direct translation of lip-sync, 口パク, sounds rather negative, life a (professional) singer does it in the show when he/she is supposed to sing on his/her own. However, search 'lip sync' in youtube, you will find a bunch of comedies.

What our group tried to achieve was this.

Funny, huh?

Well, as a group of four guys in mid 30's with one or two children, we were not as funny as those two Korean comedians. But, equipped with wigs, shiny plastic neck laces, toy guitars and dynamic actions, I am sure that we gave a strong surprise to the audience (fellow parishioners). I even got an unofficial MVP award at the party. Too bad, it's unofficial so I didn't get any materialistic award.

教会の忘年会にて私たちのグループはクイーンの"Bohemian Rhapsody"のリップシンクの出し物をしました。lip-syncの日本語の直訳、『口パク』というのは「歌手がステージで口パクをしていた」などとネガティブなイメージがありますが、youtubeで 'lip sync’　で検索してみてください。かなり面白いものが見つかりますよ。

クイーンの"Bohemian Rhapsody"を知らない人のために（注、私も出し物の練習を始めるまでは知りませんでした）、まずはこちらのオリジナルのライブをご覧ください。

それを踏まえたうえで、こちらが私たちがお手本にしたものです。

まあ、うちのグループは30台半ば子持ちの男性4人によるものだったので、お手本の2人の韓国人のコメディアンのようにおかしくはなかったですけど、かつらとおもちゃのネックレス、おもちゃのギターと歌って（口パクだけど）踊れるロックバンドのように完全武装したものですから、見ている人にはかなりのインパクトがあったものと思います。私なんかは非公式なMVPをいただいてしまいましたよ。まあ、非公式だけあって何も賞は出ませんでしたけど。。。
